"A Story, I'll tell you..."
Piper Roberta-Jeanne Pichette has followed her dream with the Celtic Lever Harp and graced many a gathering with her unique music styles since 2003.
An alum of the Pioneer Valley Performing Arts School and a Magna Cum Laude graduate from Berklee College of Music, she has studied with harpists Maeve Gilchrist, Catriona McKay, Felice Pomeranz, and Rosemary Caine.
Piper has been a band member in a variety of ensembles and theatre orchestras, including "Chaucer's Troubadours", "Rock Against Racism" in Vermont, "The Farley String Band" in Western Massachusetts, and the activist group "Dogs at the Door".
A passionate composer and lyricist, creative in a variety of styles, Piper’s interests in the harp began with its healing powers through Hospice. She continues to bring her harp to hospitals, private homes, and senior facilities. She has also done interactive programs that demonstrate the power of music across language barriers, with the Blind, Hearing Impaired, and as therapy for Dementia and Alzheimer's, providing immersive music therapy for post-stroke/injury and healing since 2016.
For many years, Piper has been a harpist for gala events and museum openings throughout New England, a sampling of which include . . .
